65 – Dealing with Fear, Anger, and Hatred as a Buddhist
66 - Buddha's Teachings 8: The Four Brahmaviharas, or Sublime Social Attitudes - Part 2

Hi, this is Domyo. I’m not releasing a podcast episode this week but I thought I’d take this opportunity to announce the launch of the Zen Studies Sangha.

I’ve received many inquiries over the past year about how to connect with a teacher and Sangha, particularly if you live far from a Zen/Buddhist center.

I strongly encourage you to participate in-person with a local Zen or Buddhist group if you’re fortunate enough to live near one. There’s absolutely no replacement for establishing relationships with people in three dimensions! However, if you don’t live anywhere near a center or group, or if you want to supplement your in-the-flesh practice, consider joining the Zen Studies Sangha.

Membership isn’t free because this will take a lot of my time and energy, but Sangha membership includes live online group video meetings for meditation, making connections, and discussing the most recent podcast episode. We also have a private social network site for the group on Mobilize, which is a lot like Facebook but just for us. Sangha members can submit Dharma questions, and you can also opt for a level of membership that includes opportunities for private interview with me, via Skype or phone, and getting personal support and guidance for your practice.

Take care, and I’ll be back next week with a regular podcast episode.
